Check out the opportunity below and apply today! Reference: 429588 We are seeking a Test Lead / Manager for a contract-to-hire role with our Austin, TX client. The candidate must be local and commit to being onsite at the client location after COVID. Must be able to write detailed test plans, understand scenario and script development, and requirements traceability for full system integration test. Role Accountabilities:
  • Must be able to ensure functional and technical requirements testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing.
  • Collect, track, and report test metrics and brief senior leadership on test status.
  • Develops test cases based on requirements, constraints, and other design issues.
  • Coordinates users to execute the test cases and manages the tests to ensure they pass the test case measures. Responsible to isolate and solve issues.
  • Record and document results and compare to expected results.
  • Serve as escalation point for testing issues, communicate appropriately and own to resolution
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of test design and execution and prior test management and control experience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level applications, including ERP, Electronic Data Interchange, Customer Relations Management, data warehouse, WMS, TMS applications preferred
  • Minimum 7 years in Test Management role for large initiatives
  • Ability to properly prioritize tasks while under pressure in a continually changing environment
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction to various types of team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and leaders
  • Proven experience with SDLC and Agile practices
  • Excellent coordination skills to bring together multiple contingents of testing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain a positive outlook and remain adaptable
