We are looking to fill a contract role with an SAP Functional Lead to support our Dublin, OH client. This SAP Lead will be responsible for the following: act as the primary point of contact from the cutover team for functional, technical and project IT teams in collecting detailed tasks; ensure the detailed tasks are documented in the cutover plans with predecessor, successor, resource names and other required details; review the predecessors/successors for each task in the cutover plan, including Configuration Tasks, Validation Tasks, Security Tasks, Conversions and Master Data Initial Loads; lead large groups of teams in executing business flow reviews and driving decisions; and communicating status to cutover team, issues during program test cycle executions and deployments. To be successful in this role, the SAP Functional Lead should possess:
  • Ability to work with SAP Basis and App Dev to identify what work needs to be done within cutover window
  • Some knowledge/experience working with integrations. This role will also work with Current State teams to document work that is required to receive new data, capturing enhancements, manual cutover activities required to support new interfaces
  • Must have demonstrated experience in breaking down complex technical, functional process dependencies into more manageable tasks in the cutover plan.
  • Must have prior working experience in SAP technical areas.
  • Ability to work well under tight schedules. Knows when to escalate, engages right contacts to find viable solution(s).
  • Stays engaged, current with day to day priorities, issues on the cutover executions, testing cycles.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to take initiative & be a self-starter.
  • Experience supporting CAH applications, Distrack/Score/SAP/EA/Etc
  • A resource with integration/middleware work experience is a plus (IIB, DellBoomi, Attunity)
  • Ability to organize large number of tasks and prioritize
  • Understanding of Conversions, data transformation and data loads
  • Must be able to clearly communicate and work with cross-functional teams
