Our client is seeking a Microsoft NAV Implementation Consultant (Functional & Technical) for a contract-to-hire role in Columbus, Ohio. This individual will create new reports with NAV2018 POS and these reports will be used within accounting / finance. Responsibilities:

• Participate in internal implementation projects and handle system configuration.
• Get user requirements and implement in NAV from the development of the business process models to the final testing, delivery and training.
• Integrate other applications/Add-ons: i.e., Power BI, Moneris
• Prepare IT documentation such as system design documents, UAT test scripts, functional requirement documents and user manual.
• Support users and provide training.
• Manage NAV help desk tickets and troubleshoot any issues

Role Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years’ experience with Dynamics NAV supporting POS, Sales and Finance, experience with Business Central is a plus
• Implementation experience with Dynamics NAV
• Gather business requirements into workable action points
• Custom coding experience with NAV
• Strong Functional understanding of NAV
• Strong understanding of SQL and NAV reports. Must be able to troubleshoot report performance issues. Ability to design and implement reports with system performance in mind.
• Accounting and Financial knowledge
• Strong Communication
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Team Player
• Working experience as a Developer or Business Analyst in a Retail business with good business process competences
• Good project management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with various business users on project tasks and status
• Business Intelligence experience would be a plus
• If someone also has Cloud experience or web development experience that’s a really nice plus.
