Director of E-Commerce – Amazon Seller Central / Amazon Channel IMMEDIATE NEED for a Director of E-Commerce – Amazon Channel for a well-established and fast-growing clothing and accessories company. Currently, this company sells through three primary channels: Retail, Wholesale, and Direct to Consumer. Great opportunity to join during explosive growth! Responsibilities: The Director of E-Commerce – Amazon Channel would handle all operations on their Amazon Channel for their existing clothing and accessory lines of business. You will be responsible for the overall strategy, best practices, and performance Metrics for the Amazon Channel
  • Identify and manage to exceed Amazon’s current and future requirements and KPI’s
  • Drive account brand/item listings and platform activation in the digital arena
  • Continuously review sales and marketing performance and customer satisfaction to ensure achievement of performance objectives.
  • Maintain health of account, performance, and directly resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor operational performance on Amazon and identify areas for improvement
    • Support Leadership in the development of the Marketplace program and building operational processes.
  • Manage listings for optimization- titles, content, keywords, imagery, new sku launches- execute and review for top performance.
    • Collaborate with in-house graphic artist team to optimize listings, create content, video and work on creative needs.
    • Maintain accuracy throughout brand voice and product detail pages.
  • Research and optimize catalog including new sku research, style, color, design specific to amazon customer.
  • Work directly with design team to come up with concept and execution in amazon specific product development.
  • Communicate sales strategies, company initiatives, sales campaigns and promotions to ensure sales and brand objectives are achieved.
    • Review/ execute pricing strategy at the sku level
    • Review selling performance by sku monthly for next actions
    • Develop action plans to improve results and scale growth of sales on AMZ
    • Lead analysis of sales data to garner key insights that can help drive assortment/business decisions and to ensure growth plans remain consistent with annual goals, and make necessary recommendations on course adjustments as needed.
  • Develop, lead and implement global Amazon strategy
    • Assess viability of product overseas:
      • Market for product
      • Compliance legalities
      • Importing- direct/ through US
  • Plan and conduct business review meetings to ensure Amazon is kept current on product line, features, and brand strategy, and to ensure that all of the relevant are fully aware of Amazon’s goals, strategies and future plans and the part we can play in achieving mutual success with Amazon
    • Lead and deliver accurate forecasting and business planning internally
  • Provide leadership for our entire Amazon team, lead and mentor direct reports and create a best in class sales team that is prepared to lead future senior level sales, marketing and analytics roles in Amazon.
    • Manage support staff regarding listings, images, marketing, reporting
    • Ensure efficiencies for maximum output
    • Full oversight of work flow
  • Marketing management- strategy, coordination, review and continual improvement of campaigns. Manage PPC campaigns.
    • Implementing and advising on Amazon promotions, coupons, and lightning deals
    • Work directly with FB Ad Agency for creative and ad budget directed to AMZ. Implement and optimize marketing efforts off channel.
    • Manage and forecast total budget in PPC and other paid media channels

    • Submit monthly marketing future month strategy and performance summary to management
    • Manage budget for PPC, FB paid media, and all collaterals; reporting metrics to management monthly
