JOB DETAIL

As the Data Warehouse Architect, you will be central to our client’s Business Intelligence initiatives. You will help organize, catalog, and automate multiple data sources into a consolidated hub of information. This architecture will be the foundation for analytics, dashboards, and eventually predictive models that will support everything from understanding customer behavior to supply chain planning. The person in this role will be critical to the overall success of the Business Intelligence program.

Accountabilities in this role:

  • Assist in defining, documenting, and executing Data Warehousing strategy to support the needs of the business today with an eye towards scalability and the future needs of a rapidly growing business
  • Define data definitions, dictionaries, and naming standards that can be easily digested by business users as well as technical users
  • Manage the technical aspects of Master Data Management in collaboration with product
  • Utilize strategies that will allow SMEs to manage hierarchies and custom aggregations
  • Support integrations between enterprise applications where ETL is required to translate data definitions
  • Provide the foundation for Data Marts which will be utilized by business users
  • Translate business requirements into an intelligent and clean design
  • Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Team
  • Complete other tasks as defined by business needs

The Ideal Person:

  • 3 years of experience in DW activities
  • Collaborative individual willing to take established frameworks and expand upon them
  • Knowledge of dimensional modeling. Experience with at least one ETL Market tool (Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory)
  • Strong ETL skills with an emphasis on building workflow automations that will support scheduled and event-based triggers
  • Strong T-SQL skills specifically around indexing, stored procedures, triggers, and function development
  • Understand query execution plans, performance tuning, and best practices for optimization
  • Impeccably clean and consistent in methodologies

Preferred:

  • Azure cloud-based services
  • Data Mining tools like KNIME or Alteryx
  • SQL Server analysis services. Tabular modeling
  • APls to call and push data
