A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Planning & Design Engineer to join their team in the Livermore, CA area! Please apply with a full resume if you meet the requirements below.
What you will be doing as a Planning & Design Engineer:
- Assist with project status to ensure progress toward completion and required procedural steps are completed fully and in a timely manner
- Create construction jobs from a variety of intake sources
- Validate documentation and information available to proceed
- Participate in the design of broadband communication systems using various design software packages
- Prepare special keys, charts, diagrams and graphic drawings for use by other departments
- Update and maintain system maps, keys, and design files
- Track and keep current system spreadsheets and documents
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the telecom industry
- Experience managing, tracking, and reporting on respective deadlines
- Skills in Excel and other tracking systems and databases
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience creating OSP designs, diagrams, maps, and charts
