Reference:  427814 Our Columbus, OH client has a contract to hire opportunity for an IT Project Manager to provide direct leadership of IT start-up projects throughout the project delivery lifecycle, executing 1-2 big projects and a few smaller topics. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining project plan, cost tracker, action log, etc. based on the client’s project management framework. Key job duties include:

• Facilitate effective communication across project team
• Coordinate and plan project resources
• Prepare project presentations
• Maintain required project artifacts

Qualified candidates will have 5-7 years of experience in progressive IT project team roles, including experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects. PMP certification is preferred. A background in DevOps and Agile methodologies is a plus. Supply chain, logistics or transportation experience is ideal, as is experience deploying OTM or other transportation solutions. We are looking for candidates proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
