Immediate need for an OSP Construction Coordinator in the Chelmsford, MA Area!

What you will be doing as an OSP Construction Coordinator:

  • Responsible for overseeing outside plant fiber and coax construction supporting node-splits, plant rebuilds and upgrades.
  • Managing OSP construction driving business partner vendors to meet project schedule deadlines.
  • Monitor projects to meet or exceed minimum specification to company Construction Policy, FCC Technical Standards, NEC, OSHA, State, County and/or City, and all other applicable agencies
  • Aligns performance metrics to support the achievement of business and department goals.
  • Works closely with Project Manager and provides communication on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Review Project Bills-of-Material (BOMs) for accuracy, coordinate project material procurement needs with Materials Management/Warehouse organization
  • Quality-Check Business Partner work and identify/remedy any defects that are found
  • Assist with cost reconciliation at completion of project build

What you bring to the table as an OSP Construction Coordinator:

  • 4-8 years aerial and underground outside plant construction and MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) deployment experience
  • Understanding of aerial pole make-ready and underground permitting process
  • Thorough understanding of Hybrid-Fiber-Coax (HFC) Networks. Ability read and interpret network design and fiber documentation (route maps, fanouts, stick drawings)
  • Prior experience troubleshooting/repairing HFC Networks
